By using our website or interacting with a Caratwise-powered experience, you agree to these Terms.

2. Our Role

Caratwise provides technology and jewelry manufacturing solutions that power modern retail experiences.

We support retailers by providing:

  • Product listings, including images and specifications
  • Product availability
  • Production of made-to-order jewelry

Retailers are responsible for:

  • Setting retail pricing
  • Managing the customer relationship
  • Handling all purchases and transactions

Caratwise is not a retailer and does not sell directly to consumers. Caratwise is not a party to any transaction between consumers and retailers. All purchases are made through the retailer you are interacting with.

While we work hard to keep product information and availability accurate, these details may change from time to time.

3. Information on the Platform

The platform displays product information such as:

  • Images
  • Specifications
  • Availability

Caratwise makes reasonable efforts to ensure that such information is accurate and current; however, it makes no representations or warranties, whether express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or timeliness of such information.

Retail pricing is determined independently by retailers and may vary.

4. Inventory & Pricing

Caratwise manages product availability and underlying product data.

Retailers are responsible for:

  • Setting retail prices
  • Ensuring pricing accuracy shown to customers
  • Making any pricing changes

Caratwise is not responsible for pricing errors or discrepancies set by retailers.

We may update or correct product information or availability at any time if needed.

5. Acceptable Use

We ask that you use the platform responsibly and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • Misuse the platform in any way
  • Attempt to access areas you’re not authorized to use
  • Interfere with or disrupt how the platform works
  • Use the platform in a way that could harm Caratwise, its users, or partners

If we reasonably believe there has been a violation, we may suspend or restrict access.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, technology, and design on this platform belong to Caratwise.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any part of the platform without permission.

Unauthorized use may result in suspension of access and further action if necessary.

7. Third-Party Services

Our platform may connect with third-party services such as cloud hosting, data storage and performance monitoring, or link to external websites.

We don’t control these third parties and aren’t responsible for:

  • Their content or services
  • Their availability or performance
  • How they handle your data

If you use third-party services, their terms will apply.

8. Platform Availability

Caratwise shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the availability or performance of the platform arising from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, telecommunications failures, cyber incidents, or actions of governmental authorities.

9. Security and Viruses

We take reasonable steps to keep the platform secure, but we can’t guarantee it will always be free from bugs, vulnerabilities, or viruses.

You’re responsible for making sure your devices and systems are properly protected, including using up-to-date security and virus protection.

You agree not to:

  • Introduce harmful or malicious code
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the platform or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform’s security or performance

  • The uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the platform
  • The suitability of the platform for any particular purpose or intended use

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Caratwise expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Caratwise is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities
  • Issues related to pricing set by retailers
  • Any disputes or transactions between you and a retailer

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the updated version here.

By continuing to use the platform, you agree to the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New York.
